How the Pokédex tracker works
- Tap a Pokémon to mark it caught — it lights up and counts toward your total and per-region completion.
- Use Search, Only missing and Species only to focus on what you still need.
- Your Pokédex saves automatically in your browser, and syncs to your Discord account when you log in.
- Chasing the shiny set too? Track those on the Shiny Checklist, build a trade list for your spares, and fill gaps with live 100% IV coordinates.
Pokédex FAQ
How many Pokémon are in Pokémon GO?
As of 24 Jun 2026, 951 of the 1,025 National Dex species are in Pokémon GO — and counting released regional forms (Alolan, Galarian, Hisuian, Paldean), there are 1,006 to catch. The remaining 74 species haven't been added to the game yet.
Which Pokémon aren't in Pokémon GO yet?
74 species are still missing from Pokémon GO — most of them recent Paldea (Gen 9) Pokémon, plus a few older ones like Phione, Manaphy, Arceus, Wishiwashi, Pyukumuku. They're listed by region above and can't be caught until Niantic releases them.
How do I track which Pokémon I've caught?
Tap any Pokémon in the grid to mark it caught — it lights up and counts toward your total and your per-region completion. Your Pokédex is saved in your browser automatically. Log in with Discord and it also syncs to your account, so the same checklist opens on any device.
Does the tracker include regional forms?
Yes — released Alolan, Galarian, Hisuian and Paldean forms each get their own tile next to their base species. Use the Species only toggle to hide forms and track one tile per species, matching the in-game Pokédex count.
Is the Pokédex tracker free?
Completely free — no payment and no login required. Logging in with Discord is optional and just syncs your Pokédex across devices.
